Scarves for Days: Great ways to tie a scarf!
When fall weather hits and you can feel the chill in the air add a scarf. It's not only fashionable but practical. However, if you're anything like the ladies at EllyBLUE you have your favorite way of tying a scarf and find it hard to discover new and different ways to make that old scarf look new!
We at EllyBLUE have found your answer and would like to share the ways we tie our scarves, as well as share an amazing video tutorial on 25 different ways to tie your favorite scarf!
One Scarf to Rule Them All Take your scarf and hold in the middle. Place on your neck like a necklace while dangling the ends down your back. Reach around and grab one end of the scarf looping it around the back of your neck to the front; continue with the other end of the scarf looping it around the back of your neck and back to the front. Tuck ends slightly under the larger loop of the scarf to add volume.
This way works great with fuller or blanket style scarves.
No Better Way to Tie Up Loose Ends
Fold your scarf in half and wrap the middle around the back of your neck so you have the loop on one side and the ends on the other. Thread one loose end through the underside of the loop and pull through to the front. Pull the other end through the loop from the front to the underside/backside. This should have created a loose knot. Adjust to make the scarf look full and even. This works great with knitted or gauzy scarves.
